Attend a Meeting or Event
Monthly meetings are held by Groups and can be in-person or online. Occasionally non-series meetings and special events may be available.
Meetings may change on short notice; the calendar may not reflect postponed or cancelled meetings. Please contact a Leader to confirm if this is a concern.
Leader only training, events, and educational opportunities can also be found here.
At La Leche League meetings, information is presented as a buffet of ideas. Each parent is welcome to take what works for them and their family and leave the rest behind. A typical meeting allows plenty of time for questions and parent-to-parent sharing in a warm and supportive atmosphere.
We are here to help support you as you determine, work toward, and even surpass your nursing goals. There is no right or wrong way to be a parent, and you can come to meetings whether you nurse for 2 days, 2 years, supplement, pump, combo feed, feed from the breast, or the chest.
Expectant and lactating mothers, parents, and their children are always welcome to attend. Some meetings also welcome support people, partners, and other family members.
Not all Groups hold regular meetings. However, you are always welcome to contact the Leader of your local Group for support! All Leaders provide one-on-one helping. Leaders are accessible via the web, text, calls, in-person, and/or email. Some Groups offer virtual meetings; you don’t have to live in that community in order to attend. You are welcome to reach out to any Leader or Group that offers support that suits your needs.

What to Expect at a Meeting
What parents need most in order to reach their feeding goals is support, encouragement, and accurate information.
Our meetings provide all three.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Donate to Help Support Local Communities
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on tax deductible donations like yours to provide support to breastfeeding families.
La Leche League Leaders are:
Parents who have personal experience in breastfeeding, chest feeding, and/or pumping. Fully trained and accredited by La Leche League International.
La Leche League is an international non-profit, non-sectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to families who want to breastfeed. Our services are always free of charge.
PEER-TO-PEER SUPPORT
Has Your Insurance Referred You to La Leche League?
La Leche League provides volunteer peer-to-peer support, not professional lactation services. If you have reached out to your insurance company for contact information of lactation support professionals and they’ve directed you to LLL, please call the number on the back of your insurance card and let them know that you need the contact information for an in-network IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) in accordance with the Affordable Care Act.
La Leche League is here to answer questions and provide general support to you during your breastfeeding journey. Many parents who attend La Leche League meetings find a welcoming community and lasting friendships, but IBCLCs work with your insurance and medical team for complex situations.
